Our partner is a fast-growing F&B group with a multitude of award-winning restaurants. As they continue to expand, they are now seeking a Senior Accountant to join their finance team.
The Senior Accountant actively helps with monthly management accounts. They are responsible for ensuring accurate revenue reconciliation across the group, managing receivables while flagging discrepancies, and conducting in-depth analysis of inventories, purchases, and costings. They play a key role in driving process enhancements and delivering ad-hoc financial reporting to support decision-making.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Reporting to the Finance Manager and Finance Controller, assist in the preparation of the month-end management accounts.
- Carrying out revenue reconciliation, focusing but not limited to sales versus cash.
- Analysis of financial performance for a portfolio of restaurants – including revenue, costings, inventory checks, discounts and gratuities.
- Reviewing Profits and Loss statements, making necessary accounting booking where needed.
- Managing routine finance duties such as invoicing, refunds, cash management.
- Supporting the maintenance and enhancement of the finance function to identify, propose and implement process improvements as necessary.
- Delivering project-based work as assigned across the finance function, including exposure to: Management Reporting, Forecasting, Revenue Analysis and Trainings.
- Creating strong relationships with Operations to earn their trust and provide the necessary support they need.
- Completing Ad Hoc tasks from Senior Management.
We seek candidates with:
- Degree or above in Accounting or other related disciplines;
- A strong passion for food & beverage;
- A minimum of 5 years of financial accounting experience;
- Strong knowledge of MS office tools and accounting systems;
- Ability to work independently with a high level of detail, organisation, and follow through, as well as working collaboratively across teams;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- A desire to play an integral role in the growth of an organisation!
