We are seeking a talented and experienced Thai Executive/Head Chef to lead the culinary team. The ideal candidate will be an inventive chef with a passion for Thai cuisine, a deep understanding of its traditions, and the ability to innovate and present dishes that will delight our discerning guests.
Main responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute innovative menus that showcase authentic Thai flavours and techniques, while appealing to a diverse audience.
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, budgeting, and cost control.
- Lead, train, and inspire a team of chefs and kitchen staff to achieve culinary excellence.
- Collaborate with the management team to align the culinary direction with the overall vision of the restaurant.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate them into the menu to keep the offerings fresh and exciting.
- Build relationships with suppliers to source the finest ingredients and maintain the authenticity of the cuisine.
- Oversee the implementation of health and safety protocols in the kitchen.
We seek candidates with:
- Proven successful track record as an Executive Chef or Head Chef specialising in Thai cuisine, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of traditional Thai ingredients, techniques, and flavours, combined with the ability to innovate.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in Thai and English, with excellent communication skills.
