Our partner, a vibrant, fast-growing hospitality group with major expansion ahead, is now seeking a Finance Director to lead their strategic finance direction and oversee the day-to-day financial and accounting operations. The main responsibilities include:
- Providing leadership and mentorship to the finance team;
- Supporting the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new team members;
- Proactively optimising the company's financial performance, contributing to the growth of both the top and bottom-line;
- Continuously seeking out and implementing improvements within the financial functions;
- Providing financial insights, guidance, and analysis to executive and operational management;
- Overseeing AP, AR, compliance, and reconciliation;
- Preparing and analysing monthly financial and management reports;
- Performing month-end closing procedures;
- Coordinating the preparation of the draft audited financial statements and tax returns;
- Assisting in the production of cash flow reports, annual budgets, and forecasts;
- Recommending and reporting on benchmarks by which to measure organisational performance.
We seek candidates who have:
- Excellent leadership and people management skills;
- The ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a high performing team;
- Solid business acumen and organisational skills to manage competing deadlines and priorities;
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence decision-making at all levels of the organisation;
- A minimum of 10 years of finance and accounting experience;
- Experience in hospitality is preferred but not required;
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in Cantonese is a plus.
